Aims & Objectives
Ferndown Nursing Home aims to identify each individual’s physical, psychological and spiritual needs
through observation, communication, assessment and holistic approach so that appropriate care can be provided. We aim to provide a comfortable and caring environment for patients who choose to reside with us and make them feel at home. Relatives and friends are encouraged to visit the home freely at any time.
Inspection & Regulation
Ferndown Nursing Care Home is inspected by the Care Quality Commision once a year. The home has copies of the previous inspection reports if you wish to read them, or alternatively you can obtain them by assessing www.cqc.org.uk
Quality Assurance
Patients, relatives and visitors to the home (Including local Doctors) give their comments and suggestions
about the care offered at Ferndown Nursing Home regularly via quality assurance questionnaires. These
and personal cards of thanks are available to view on request.
